More swinging

Thursday Seth and I went to a small park while the car was being worked on at Grease Monkey. It was a small repair and did not take them long. I was hoping they would have kids swings there and they did so I was pretty happy about that. Seth loves to swing and this day was no exception. I even tried to get him down the slide and he seemed to like the swing better. So, we spent a bunch of time on the swing. He also crawled around in the bark there, and tried to eat it!! All was well though, and no harm was done.
Such a cute smile!!
He really hangs on well. Sometimes it is a white knuckled grip. Don't know that he is scared of falling though.

Mom, I'm going to make a beeline for the swings, you coming???

High chair sprint

Seth just figured out how to move the high chair. He had quite a bit of fun doing this the other day. He moved it from one end of the kitchen to the other. He did most of this on his knees, but he can also stand up next to it. It was quite humerous to watch.

How far can I go mom? Well, the chair did not fit between the fridge and stove, so that about ended the fun. But at least he had some fun in the process.

Playing the piano with dad

Seth enjoys playing piano by himself, but it's even more fun with someone else. So, this weekend when Jason was home, Seth got to play with dad. That was a fun treat.

In this picture, Jason was actually trying to play, but Seth took over. Quite the boy!

Daddy's home!!!

Jason has been working many, many hours recently because of his job and tax season. Seth has missed him quite a bit. Jason usually is out of the house by 6 and often won't be back before Seth goes to bed for the night. On Friday, Jason was home more on time and Seth got to see him. He just crawled right up to him and wanted to be picked up. It was quite cute and precious.

Jason is getting sick of tax season too, and hopefully soon will be able to see "above water" so to speak. He is putting in alot of hours and really wants to just be done with it all. Only 3 more weeks left, and they will probably fly by!

A path of destruction

Seth is really into getting things off of shelves, more specifically. He was really going at it the other night. I probably shouldn't let him do this, but as long as the books aren't harmed I let him pull them off the shelves.

I'm sure this will only get worse the older he gets. That path of destruction could well get larger before it gets smaller...

Noah's Ark

Seth now has a new toy. I was saving it for him but he found it yesterday so I decided to break it out. It is very cool, plays music and animal noises, etc. He likes it quite a bit.

I like the bright colors the ark has. There is even a spot for Noah to captain the ship!!!

Looking at mom

Last week Seth decided to climb up to me while I sat at the kitchen table. He is a little short yet to get his hands on my knees as we have a higher table than standard, but he will climb up and get his hands on the chair seat. I got a few pretty cool smiles that I'm sharing. They are favorite pictures!!

Course I'm not sure if he's actually looking at me or the camera (wondering if he can grab it). But, they were cute smiles none the less.

Standing

Seth has recently really started to pull himself up against furniture and anything else he can find to get to a standing position. He really likes to "play" piano, so I had to get some pictures. He also likes to look out the front window now at cars going by on the street in front of our house. This is great fun!

What's going on out there???

Seth also likes to touch the glass, of course. If he could find a way he'd put it in his mouth, but that won't be happening. He also has this fascination with mirrors. He loves to see himself and touch the glass.

What do you want me to play today, mom?? My little boy is growing up...

Before and after

Before.....

And After...

I accidentially left open a cupboard the other day and this is what Seth did about that! I've since left it open on purpose because there are just so many fun toys in there Seth likes to play with. It is great fun for him and he scoots everything all over the floor. He found things in there I forgot were there!!!

New wheels

Last week I got Seth a new umbrella stroller. I wanted something that was much easier to get in and out of the car and for just little trips. This ends up working very well and I like it alot. Today I used it for a trip to our new Kohls and it worked pretty well. Seth likes sitting in it.

I think Seth likes it, this is quite a happy smile!
I especially like the color. If we are blessed with more children it will work for either a boy or girl.
