Playing under the exersaucer

Seth has decided recently to play under his exersaucer instead of in it like you are supposed to do. He just crawls under all the toys and other things you can do in it and plays under it. And, he usually does not get stuck either, he can get out from under there too by himself. Amazing what his little brain is learning already.

Seth can't sit up under there without bumping his head, so that is not very much fun, but he has a good time on his hands and knees.

Can I help with dishes, mom?

Seth has discovered the dishwasher lately. When I have it open he will come over to it and put his hands in all the crevices to feel what they all are like. Just as long as I don't roll anything over his fingers he is fine. This is a great fun new toy!

This is great fun, mom. I can help with dishes...

Seriously, maybe that will come true some day for real.

Happy boy

Seth has this habit of chewing on his shoes, particularly ones that don't fit him anymore. I don't know why he likes this so much, but he does. Just give him a shoe and he'll be quiet for a bit!

Climbing

The other morning, Seth was in a mood to climb all over me, so I had to get some pictures. He has great fun doing this, except when he does a face plant without knowing how to stop his momentum.

Let's just climb over mom's leg a minute...

This was a very precious smile!!!

A trip to the mall play area

A couple weeks ago we went to the Aurora mall play area they have for kids so Seth could play with the things they have there. He had a good time even though he couldn't get around as fast as the bigger kids. I don't think it will be long before he's running and jumping just like the rest of them.
This rocket was pretty cool as kids could sit in it. So, we took advantage of that and sat Seth in there. He had a good time "touching" everything.

This pig was just adorable!! As you can see from the picture below, Seth loved it!!

All boy!

We have recently found some soft balls in our house that Seth can now play with. He really enjoys the basketball, in the picture below and the raquetball. We also have a real baseball that he enjoys quite a bit too. The balls typically get away from him and he chases them all over the basement floor. Quite cute to watch.

Seth has also taken to climbing on things lately. He's really pulling himself up against different things like this stack of shelves.
